Bally Technologies Inc said it will perform its largest installation of table game progressive technology at the Mohegan Sun (pictured) in Uncasville, Connecticut. The property, owned by the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, is one of the largest casino resorts in the U.S., with more than 300,000 square feet (27,870 sq metres) of gaming space within three casinos.
Bally Technologies’ new Game Manager 2 software will be used to track progressive jackpots on 43 tables across Mohegan Sun’s three casinos, the company said in a statement.
“The Mohegan Sun upgrade marks the installation of the greatest number of table-game progressives Bally has performed in North America,” it added.
Bally says that Game Manager 2 enables casinos to operate a number of functions including multi-level jackpots and allows players to compete for multiple jackpots with just one wager. The product was developed by SHFL entertainment Inc, which was acquired by Bally in November 2013.
“Previously, players made a progressive wager that tied to only one jackpot. Players can now win from multiple reserve pools, which elevates the gaming experience by increasing unpredictability and introducing more ways to win across the gaming floor,” Bally Technologies’ senior VP of table and utility products, Roger Snow, said in the statement.
