Gaming testing laboratory and technical consultancy BMM International LLC, known as BMM Testlabs, says it is on target “to achieve its highest ever level of customer demand” in Asia.
The “growing number of online and land-based gaming operators, manufacturers and developers based in Asia” has supported the increase in demand, the firm said on Wednesday in a press release.
“BMM’s success in Asia is largely attributed to establishing Asian-based testlabs and an Asian and international management team,” said Yu-Chiang Lim, BMM’s director business development for Asia, in a statement.
“We also employ a blend of local and international compliance and testing engineers, enabling us to understand exactly what the requirements are for Asian regulators and our local customers. Our specialised teams of experts are able to guide and support our customers through acquiring online games or land-based gaming technology certification for Asian regulated gaming markets,” Mr Lim added.
Privately held BMM – a business established in 1981 – is marking this year its 35th anniversary of operations and its eighth year in Asia. The group says it currently employs approximately 300 people in 13 global locations and serves more than 420 jurisdictions.
In Asia, BMM has offices in Macau and Singapore. The firm also has a partnership with Macao Polytechnic Institute. Asian markets have been among the firm’s main growth areas in recent years.
“Certification of gaming products in Asia can be challenging and complex but BMM’s local presence and international reach provide our customers [with] confidence throughout the process,” said Mr Lim.
