Gaming supplier GTech SpA announced today the appointment of Michael Lim (pictured) as casino systems sales manager for the Asian market.
Mr Lim will be based in Singapore. He will be responsible for account development in Singapore, Vietnam and Taiwan, where his main task will be to grow these new markets, the Milan-listed company said in a statement.
Mr Lim will report to Lai Fatt Chiang, GTech general manager for casino systems in Asia.
GTech owns the Spielo casino slot machine brand.
Mr Lim previously worked for Weike Gaming Technology (S) Pte Ltd and for International Game Technology.
“Over the past 24 months, we have increased our presence in Asia, and continue to do so with Michael’s appointment. As our new sales manager in Asia, he will focus on developing and maintaining close relationships with our customers,” Marc Attal, GTech general manager for casino systems, said in the statement.
Italy’s Lottomatica SpA took over gaming technology and services provider GTech Holdings Corp in 2006. Lottomatica changed its name to GTech SpA in June 2013 as part of the company’s strategy to develop the business on a global scale.
