The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) has elected Luke Orchard as its new president. He is the chief compliance and risk management officer for casino equipment and lottery services firm International Game Technology Plc. Mr Orchard will hold the AGEM post for two years.
Mr Orchard succeeds Tom Nieman, the global vice-president for marketing at JCM Global, otherwise known as Japan Cash Machine Co Ltd, said a written statement from AGEM. Mr Nieman has been elected the treasurer of the association for one year. The announcement said Mr Orchard was previously an AGEM vice-president.
AGM has also elected four vice-presidents for terms of one year. They are: Konami Gaming Inc chief commercial officer Thomas Jingoli; Everi Holdings Inc digital and interactive business leader David Lucchese; Scientific Games Corp chief revenue officer for gaming Robert Parente; and Crane Payment Innovations Inc president for gaming Eric Fisher.
Other office-holders elected for one-year terms are the AGEM secretary, Aristocrat Leisure Ltd general counsel Mark Dunn; and the general counsel of the association, Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd general counsel for the Americas Daron Dorsey.
AGEM represents 167 companies in 22 places around the world. The members of the association are makers and suppliers of electronic gaming devices, lotteries, systems, table games, online technology, sports betting, key components and support products and services for the gaming industry.
