Electronic gaming equipment maker Interblock DD has appointed James Saccente as director of gaming operations and analytics. In this new role, Mr Saccente will work closely with Interblock’s vice president of product management, Jeff Kowalchuk, “on identifying and optimising ETG [electronic table game] performance,” the firm said in a press release on Thursday.
Mr Saccente is described in the release as having more than 30 years of experience in the casino industry, most of which served within the U.S.-based casino operator Caesars Entertainment Corp’s table games division.
The executive is said to have held positions related with internal audit, public accounting, and table games operations. Prior to joining Interblock, he was assistant casino manager at Caesars Palace, a property operated by Caesars Entertainment.
“As we continue to expand our global business and products in the field, James’ appointment will play a critical role in our current and future strategies,” said Mr Kowalchuk in a prepared statement accompanying the announcement.
“We look forward to James’ contributions becoming pivotal to our success,” he added.
