U.S.-based casino equipment supplier Konami Gaming Inc announced on Tuesday a partnership with online gaming developer Spin Games LLC to offer Konami video slot games via online platforms. Konami’s video slot themes will be available in the first quarter of 2016 across online social media and cash wager platforms, the firm said in a press release.
Konami said it would make its top game themes available on multiple online channels “by launching a best-of-breed remote gaming server (RGS) with Spin Games”.
Both land-based and online casino gambling entities will have the ability to provide Konami game content to all relevant mobile devices, desktop platforms, and Internet browsers, the company added.
“We have a longstanding reputation for performance and our hope is that through this new RGS, we can begin to deliver our content to our customers in order to help them excel in the Internet gaming space,” Matt Reback, vice president of marketing at Konami Gaming, said in a prepared statement.
“This is a big step forward in giving casino players the Konami games they enjoy, on the platforms they frequent, from home and across the globe,” added Mr Reback. “The delivery system we’re building with Spin is technologically sound – the best this industry has to offer.”
Nevada-based Spin Games is known for the design and development of gaming content and technologies for land-based and interactive markets. The firm’s remote gaming server streamlines gaming content for a variety of online interactive markets.
“We are delighted to be entering into this agreement with Konami and honoured to have been chosen by them as the interactive technology provider of choice,” said Kent Young, president of Spin Games.
