Casino gaming equipment supplier Scientific Games Corp has confirmed to GGRAsia that two people associated with senior executive roles at its market rival the Aristocrat group, are to join Scientific Games.
They are Matt Wilson (pictured), lately president and managing director of Aristocrat Americas, and Siobhan Lane.
Mr Wilson will become chief executive of gaming for Scientific Games, the latter group confirmed. GGRAsia understands Ms Lane will be joining Scientific Games in an advisory role as part of the gaming executive team.
According to a LinkedIn page in Ms Lane’s name, she has most recently been senior vice president, marketing and gaming operations North America at Aristocrat Technologies Inc.
Starting dates for the two recruits have yet to be confirmed, although GGRAsia understands they are likely to begin working for Scientific Games only next year.
“We are thrilled Matt and Siobhan are joining our world-class team,” said a statement emailed to GGRAsia and quoting Barry Cottle, president and chief executive of Scientific Games.
“This is yet another huge step forward as we continue to assemble the best talent in our industry. Our current offerings of world-class products and services are gaining tremendous traction with customers, players and top talent,” Mr Cottle added.
The Aristocrat group said in a recent announcement it had created a post of “chief executive land based”, and appointed Mitchell Bowen to the role, and that Mr Wilson – who joined the Aristocrat group in 2004 – had “accepted a role outside Aristocrat and departed the company”.
