Electronic gaming equipment maker Interblock DD has appointed Stanley Banks (pictured) as project director, to lead the firm’s Pulse Arena multi-game product and so-called stadium games projects. He will be based in the Las Vegas office, and will also be responsible for the projects’ respective operation and execution, the firm said in a press release on Monday.
Mr Banks is described in the release as having more than 25 years of senior-level executive experience in gaming, finance, business development and business operations.
“We are privileged to have Stanley Banks as our project director,” said John Connelly, chief executive of Interblock, in a prepared statement accompanying the announcement.
“Stanley is an industry expert with a proven track record of exceeding project delivery expectations and his unique expertise will support the growth of our business,” he added.
In the casino industry, the term “stadium games” typically describes an array of electronic table game terminals arranged on the casino floor in such a way that the setup resembles an arena or stadium.
Prior to his appointment by Interblock, Mr Banks was a “corporate key executive licensee” for gaming operations and manufacturing in several major gaming jurisdictions, said his new employer. His career has included spells at Caesars Palace – a Las Vegas Strip property in Nevada operated by U.S.-based casino operator Caesars Entertainment Corp – and at PDS Gaming Corp, a privately-held finance and lease company.
Most recently, he served as executive business consultant at JSB Consultants LLC, a business providing management consulting services to the casino industry.
