Cash-handling equipment maker SuzoHapp Group has a new global gaming product manager. Mike Sigona took up the role on July 2 and is based in the German city of Munich. Mr Sigona will also have responsibility for business development in Europe.
In a statement released on Monday by SuzoHapp, the technology company said Mr Sigona would oversee product strategy, and follow a growth plan aimed at penetrating new markets and increasing share in its existing ones.
Mr Sigona has more than 30 years of experience in display and touchscreen technology, and was described as having a deep understanding of the gaming industry. Prior to joining SuzoHapp he worked for Elo Touch Solutions, a manufacturer of touchscreen displays.
“Our customers’ needs are becoming more complex and it is crucial to develop innovative solutions to meet their expectations,” said Wilbert Bieleman, SuzoHapp’s president and managing director for the Middle East, Europe and Africa. “With his valuable knowledge and expertise, Mike is an excellent addition to our team and will play a central role in driving innovation and business growth.”
SuzoHapp sells software and hardware – that automate cash handling – to more than 25,000 business customers worldwide. The group employs more than 1,100 employees working in 19 countries.
The statement quoted Mr Sigona as saying: “I look forward to being part of such a talented and dedicated team and contributing to the company’s success.”
