Tangam Systems Inc, a specialist in data analytics that works with the casino industry, says it has secured a five-year deal to supply its know-how to Australian casino operator The Star Entertainment Group Ltd.
The new arrangement includes expanding use of Tangam Systems’ Table Games Yield Management software to the client’s Queensland properties. The technology is already in use at The Star, the casino group’s flagship property in Sydney.
Earlier this month, Ontario, Canada-based Tangam Systems announced the same software had been put in place in the Macau casino properties managed by Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd.
“The table games industry is evolving into to a more dynamic and data-driven model of managing revenue and costs,” said Maulin Gandhi, president at Tangam Systems, in a release outlining its new product deployment for The Star Entertainment group.
“We are excited to announce this long-term partnership with The Star and expand to their full portfolio of properties,” he added.
On Wednesday the Australian operator reported net profit after tax up 36 percent year-on-year for financial year ending June 30, despite a downturn in business from some Asian players.
