Gaming Laboratories International LLC, a provider of testing and assessment services for land-based gaming, for lotteries and for the online gaming industry, has appointed April Augustine (pictured) as director of marketing.
The news was given in a press statement carrying Wednesday’s date.
Ms Augustine will lead the company’s marketing communications and branding strategy and its marketing activities worldwide, said GLI.
Most recently she was director of marketing for a property restoration firm.
Prior to that, she spent nine years at casino equipment supplier Bally Technologies Inc. There, her roles included director of corporate marketing, online marketing strategist, director of systems marketing and systems marketing manager.
During her time with Bally Technologies, Ms Augustine was on five occasions recognised by the American Gaming Association for excellence in communications, said GLI’s release.
“April brings a unique insight to GLI that will help us communicate even more effectively with our clients, particularly at this time, when there are so many exciting things happening at the company,” said Christie Eickelman, GLI’s vice president of worldwide marketing.
In November, GLI announced a near doubling of its Australian testing facilities located in Adelaide, South Australia, and Sydney, New South Wales.
