U.S.-based consulting firm Global Market Advisors LLC (GMA) announced on Thursday that William ‘Bill’ Bryson, a lawyer specialised in Asian gaming and hospitality, has joined the firm.
He will continue to be based in Taipei, Taiwan.
Mr Bryson, who is licensed as an attorney in the United States and has lived in Asia for 26 years, has 30 years of experience in providing advice for the gaming, hospitality, corporate, finance and public advocacy sectors.
The consultancy said in a press statement that the addition of Mr Bryson to the GMA team would expand the scope of the firm’s client services, particularly with respect to the development of casino projects and regulatory advice to governments.
“Bill’s experience and expertise in law, project development, finance, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and public advocacy will provide GMA with the capability to work with our clients in virtually every stage of the development process, as well as providing ongoing post-opening services,” Steven Gallaway, partner at GMA, said in a statement.
“Bill’s presence in Taipei will complement our existing presence in Bangkok, Thailand, giving us offices in East Asia and Southeast Asia, two of the most important regions for casino development,” stated Andrew Klebanow, also a partner at GMA.
The firm provides consulting services for the casino gaming, hospitality, aviation and tourism industries. It says it maintains active clients in United States, Europe and Asia. In Asia, it has advised clients in South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan and eastern Russia, according to Mr Klebanow.
