Gaming equipment supplier TCS John Huxley Ltd says it has signed a deal to become the exclusive global distributor for a range of new table games designed by Club Gaming Pty Ltd, said to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australian casino operator Crown Resorts Ltd.
The first game being released to the market is called “Nutz”, described as a “simple and easy to play” dice game where players aim to roll five of a kind. The game is currently available at three tables at Crown Resorts’ casino at Crown Melbourne.
According to a press release from U.K.-based TCS John Huxley, Tim Barnett, Crown Resorts’ general manager, tables strategy and commercial, and Joseph Crepaldi, Crown Resorts’ chief revenue officer, have been involved in developing a suite of Club Gaming games and will be working with TCS John Huxley to bring them to market.
Mr Crepaldi was quoted saying: “By developing and testing the games in-house, we are able to use our own first-hand experience to monitor performance and effectiveness, which reduces the risk when placing new games.”
He added: “We believe these games will provide an exciting addition to casino operators’ gaming mix, increasing player engagement and revenues.”
Rebecca Kingswell, TCS John Huxley’s managing director for Asia Pacific, said in a prepared statement in the release: “New table games have always been difficult to promote and sell, but we believe we have the perfect fit here with an experienced operator who has tested the games on the floor and has them in operation in their own properties.”
She added: “Crown is a global company that understands different markets and requirements around the world; this insight is extremely important when offering products to a wider audience.”
