Singapore has just introduced a new centralised self-exclusion system earlier this month. The goal is to make it more accessible for individuals to exclude themselves from multiple gambling venues.
The new system allows Singapore residents to voluntarily exclude themselves from both casino and non-casino gambling venues. Prior to the new system, centralised self-exclusion only applied to Singapore’s two casinos.
Individuals can apply to the new system online.
Media reports say that at least 21 of the city’s 73 non-casino operators will participate in the system. More operators are expected to join.
