Aristocrat Technologies Inc is preparing to introduce another new title at this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, in the United States this time based on the Showtime television drama “Billions”.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the United States subsidiary of the Australian gaming equipment supplier Aristocrat Leisure Ltd said a licensing agreement among Aristocrat Technologies, CBS Consumer Products Inc and Showtime Networks Inc makes the Billions slot game possible. CBS Consumer Products manages licensing and merchandising for various arms of U.S. broadcaster CBS Corp, including Showtime Networks.
“Engaging and edgy shows like ‘Billions’ are incredibly fun for our design teams to work with, and fuel our passion to create entertaining games for our customers and their players,” said Aristocrat Technologies marketing and gaming operations senior vice-president Siobhan Lane.
“Billions” is a serial drama that tells the story of two powerful figures on the opposites sides of Wall Street in New York. The Billions slot will feature “Billions” characters such as Chuck Rhoades, Bobby Axelrod, Wendy Rhoades, Lara Axelrod and Taylor Mason.
The game has a Mighty Cash feature and a multi-site progressive start-up jackpot. The game appears on the Aristocrat Technologies flame55 cabinet.
The flame55 has a double-curved high definition monitor; 4K-capable display; 2.1 stereo audio; a virtual button deck; and a beacon sign package.
At next month’s G2E, Aristocrat Technologies has already announced it will introduce another new title, Mad Max: Fury Road. The title is based on the Warner Bros Pictures Inc. film “Mad Max: Fury Road” and will appear on the Edge XTM cabinet, with dual curved LCDs and stereo surround sound.
Aristocrat Technologies is licensed by more than 200 regulators globally, and its products and services are available in more than 90 countries.
