Gaming equipment maker Alfastreet – best known for electronic versions of casino table games – said it expects to launch the “definitive version” of the company’s first slot machine product at the 2016 edition of the International Casino Exhibition. The annual trade show, also known as ICE, will be held in London, in the United Kingdom, from February 2 to 4.
Alfastreet – a privately held Slovenian manufacturer – stated in October that its slot machine prototypes had generated “quite a lot of interest” during the 2015 edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States.
Alfastreet has previously justified the decision to enter the slot machine segment as a way to pursue new areas of growth outside of its usual electronic table games range.
The firm said in its latest press release that it was also planning to premiere at ICE 2016 a new version of its Royal Derby mechanical horse race game.
Alfastreet added it would present during the show a new product that “will evoke nostalgic memories and provide a very clever solution to the casino experience”. The firm didn’t unveil further details about the new offering.
The Slovenian supplier stated that the products it would unveil at ICE 2016 were a “logical evolutionary step”, making use of its latest design strategies, acquired know-how and customer feedback.
