International Game Technology (IGT) has announced a deal to install its gaming systems technology at a gaming club in Vietnam’s capital Saigon.
IGT’s Advantage Systems will be supplied to the Palazzo Club, inside the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers.
The installation will include tools for machine accounting, patron management and visual performance of slot machines. IGT says the technology will provide slot managers with real-time, easily accessible data on how well games perform and what themes players prefer.
“IGT’s systems have helped enhance operating efficiency and connections to players in hundreds of locations around the world, and we’re excited to be the first slot club in Vietnam to feature the robust analytics and floor optimisation capabilities of IGT Advantage,” said Manimaran Ramalingam, general manager of the Palazzo Club in a statement accompanying the announcement.
“Our partnership with the Palazzo Club sets a milestone for IGT and a new market for slots systems solutions in Vietnam,” said Sabby Gill, IGT senior vice president for international sales.
“IGT continues to secure a strong foothold in the competitive systems space in Asia, and this installation at the Palazzo Club sets a new standard for creating rewarding connections with players and is designed to further drive profitability,” added the IGT executive.
The Palazzo Club will also install IGT’s EZ Pay cashless ticket technology and applications to enhance slot player bonuses including Carded Lucky Coin, Xtra Credit and Point Play.
Shareholders of IGT are due to vote next Tuesday on a proposed US$6.4-billion merger with lottery equipment and management specialist GTech SpA.
