Konami Gaming Inc, the American subsidiary of the Japanese slot-machine maker Konami Holdings Corp, has formed a partnership with GamingAnalytics.AI to sell artificial intelligence technology.
Konami Gaming issued a written statement on Monday saying the self-learning, artificial intelligence analytics platform uses the Konami Gaming Synkros casino management system and the GamingAnalytics.AI search-driven cognitive computing platform.
The gaming manufacturer said the GamingAnalytics.AI self-learning platform continuously improves with use, giving slot machine recommendations, predicting how players will behave and finding ways to give a player a better experience and to make slot machines more profitable.
The statement quotes GamingAnalytics.AI chief executive Kiran Brahmandam as saying managers of gaming establishments are drowning in data.
“Existing data analytics solutions in our industry are complex, labour-intensive and prohibitively expensive,” Mr Brahmandam said. “By partnering together, GamingAnalytics.AI and Konami have created a first of its kind in the industry: fast time-to-value data analytics product that is affordable and actionable.”
The statement also quotes Konami Gaming global systems sales vice-president Jay Bertsch. “By combining the vast array of data captured through Synkros with the power of GamingAnalytics.AI’s natural-language processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence, we can transform the way operators use their existing data to drive operational profitability,” he said.
