Day one of the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) 2018 in Sydney, New South Wales, featured a presentation on international and domestic legal trends for the gaming industry given by Jamie Nettleton, partner at Addisons Lawyers Sydney, president of the International Masters of Gaming Law association, and a leading expert in his field.
This is the second successive year that AGE has featured a series of seminar sessions as well as the traditional trade exhibition.
The event, at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, is sold out in terms of floor space, with more than 10,000 people expected during its three days up to Thursday this week, said the organisers
AGE is in its 29th year, and this edition features 200 exhibitors from all sectors of the industry – including casino equipment manufacturers, makers of ancillary equipment and financial services providers – across 19,000 square metres (204,514 sq feet) of show floor (pictured).
“AGE strives to deliver a bigger and better show year-on-year for all of our stakeholders,” said Ross Ferrar, chief executive of the organiser, the Gaming Technologies Association, in prepared remarks quoted in a press release summarising the first day.
“With a core focus on technology and the sustainability of the gaming industry, we believe 2018 will deliver maximum value and a truly enjoyable experience for visitors, exhibitors and sponsors,” he added.
