30 years of GLI know-how on offer at G2E Asia 2019

30 years of GLI know-how on offer at G2E Asia 2019

Gaming Laboratories International LLC (GLI), a company expert in technology and business trends in the Asia-Pacific casino sector, will be at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia 2019 to share its insights.

Topics covered by the testing and certification group will include challenges and opportunities in the land-based gaming market in the Asia-Pacific region, the firm said in a pre-show press release.

“We invite attendees to stop by our booth, meet our highly-experienced team of Asian gaming experts, and discover how GLI’s superior, locally-focused capabilities and global land-based solutions can help ensure success,” the statement quoted GLI chief executive for Asia Pacific, Ian Hughes, as saying.

GLI – a company founded three decades ago – said it would share insights on how the mature and the emerging Asian land-based gaming markets alike could benefit from its portfolio of locally-focused global land-based testing, certification, and professional products and services.

This included gaming equipment and systems testing, random number generator testing, field inspections, instant lottery ticket testing, regulatory and jurisdictional consultation, test automation, systems verification, network risk assessments, quality assurance testing, forensics and training and education via its “GLI University”.

The company will also highlight during its presence at G2E Asia, the benefits of the GLI Gaming Labs Certified mark. Products bearing the designation are said to have passed the most thorough and rigorous testing in the industry.

The company noted in its release that criminal attacks on digital infrastructure were increasingly bold and sophisticated. GLI company, Bulletproof, will highlight during G2E Asia an array of what it terms advanced and affordable information technology and cyber-security services to help the Asian gaming industry deal with criminal threats.

Bulletproof services on offer are said to include: a round-the-clock security operations centre; cyber-security consulting; security and management for clients, outsourced to Bulletproof; and advanced communications. The GLI unit also offers Microsoft SharePoint and IT infrastructure services, vulnerability and penetration testing, software quality assurance testing, instructor-led training and custom e-Learning services, learning management systems, administration support and strategic product procurement.

G2E Asia takes place at the Venetian Macao casino resort from May 21 to May 23.
