Gaming equipment maker and content provider International Game Technology Plc (IGT) says it will unveil in April a new slot cabinet, dubbed “RISE55”.
The RISE55 cabinet (pictured) features an ultra-high-definition 55-inch screen, as well as “state-of-the-art lighting, and advanced ergonomics,” stated the company in a press release.
The new cabinet is “designed to deliver an immersive experience while optimising floor space with its sleek design,” it added.
The cabinet is supported by a “brand-new lineup” of multi-level progressive (MLP) content, said IGT, adding that RISE55 will offer the “Magic Treasures Gold” title, which it called “the next evolution of the high-performing ‘Magic Treasures’ theme”.
The RISE55 cabinet will debut at this year’s edition of the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention (IGA), taking place on April 2 and 3, in San Diego, California, in the United States.
“Building on the success of our high-performing content and hardware, we will feature the world premiere of the RISE55 cabinet, the latest Magic Treasures, Tiger and Dragon and Prosperity Link games, plus new Class II and core video content,” said Nick Khin, IGT president for global gaming, as cited in the announcement.
He added: “IGT’s products and solutions portfolio for IGA 2025 will reflect our commitment to delivering future-forward gaming innovations that can provide growth opportunities for our valued tribal customers.”
IGT will also launch the “Tiger and Dragon Super Arrow” title as part of the group’s wide-area progressive games. The company will also unveil new “core video games” for its PeakCurve 49 cabinet, including “Grand Buddha Link” and “Grand Cat Link”.
IGT is in the process of selling its gaming and digital interests to funds managed by affiliates of private equity firm Apollo Global Management Inc for US$4.05 billion. The deal is “expected to close by the end of the third quarter” this year, as previously outlined.
