Inspire, a resort with foreigner-only casino at Incheon in South Korea, has opened a representative office in Osaka, in Kansai, Japan.

That is according to a Japanese-language press release issued on behalf of the property (pictured in a file photo), and citing comment by Chen Si, the complex’s president.

It quoted him saying: “We are very pleased to open our Osaka office as part of our strong commitment to expanding our business in the Kansai region and improving our services for Japanese customers.”

He added: “This strategic expansion will enable Inspire to further deepen… relationships with Japanese VIP customers and provide them with a seamless, world-class resort experience.”

Osaka is due to be the first Japanese community to get its own integrated resort (IR) with casino. The JPY1.27-trillion (US$8.66-billion curently) MGM Osaka is projected to open in late 2030.

Mr Chen had remained in the president role at Inspire following a February announcement from United States-based private investment firm Bain Capital that it had taken over the operations of the South Korean venue.

The property – located at Incheon, near the country’s main international airport – had been develop, and until then been operated, by U.S.-based Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority.

In the update about the Osaka office, Mr Chen said: “Under our new ownership with Bain Capital, Inspire will increase… investment in both facilities and tailor-made services to deliver experiences that exceed customer expectations.”

He further stated: “We sincerely invite our valued Japanese customers to make… their next stay an unforgettable experience. We look forward to your visit to our new office or contacting us for personalised hospitality inquiries and special offers.”

The update also said that Splash Bay, a glass-dome pool at Inspire – and that had “temporarily closed for renovation” – had been due for reopening on March 28.

The press release aimed at Japanese clients, additionally stated a “cutting-edge medical centre with the latest health and beauty facilities” is scheduled to open at the resort this month.

The materials referred as well to coming musical offerings at Inspire, including a K-pop festival to run on the weekend of May 31 and June 1. The ‘2025 Weverse Con Festival’ – said to be featuring “many world-famous K-pop artists” – will be held at the property’s outdoor entertainment area called Discovery Park.
