Asia Pacific a ‘key focus’ for Score Gaming’s growth strategy, says firm

Gaming equipment and content supplier Score Gaming LLC says it is “actively looking to expand” its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region, including “Macau, Singapore, Vietnam” and the region’s “other regulated markets”.

“Asia Pacific is a key focus for Score Gaming’s growth strategy,” stated the company in an interview with GGRAsia.

“Our goal is to introduce new table game innovations, optimise existing products, and strengthen partnerships with casino operators to further enhance gaming floors in Asia,” it added.

Score Gaming was founded in 2008 by Dr Merrill Sparago, a physician described as a “table game enthusiast”. The firm’s “core markets” include jurisdictions in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Score Gaming says it “specialises in proprietary table games and side bets”, with its products “deployed across major gaming jurisdictions, including the United States, Canada, the Philippines, and select European markets”.

“We pride ourselves on delivering games that create excitement for players while adding operational value for casinos,” said the company.

Score Gaming already has a presence in the Philippines, with some of its products installed at the Okada Manila casino resort, run by a unit of Universal Entertainment Corp, and at the Solaire Resort & Casino complex in Manila, promoted by Bloomberry Resorts Corp.

“We are in negotiations with other casinos in the Philippines to add Score Gaming products to their floor,” the company told GGRAsia.

“We continue to explore opportunities to expand into new jurisdictions across the region,” noted Score Gaming, saying it would be displaying its games – for the first time – at this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia.

G2E Asia’s 2025 exhibition and conference will be hosted at the Venetian Macao from May 7 to May 9.

“We have multiple meetings set up with potential new customers in the Asian market,” stated Score Gaming.

The company said its director of international sales, Dean Evans, “works closely with a network of local distributors and industry representatives throughout Asia”.

“This approach ensures seamless product deployment and ongoing support for our clients while allowing us to tailor our offerings to the specific needs of each market,” it added.

According to Score Gaming, “Double Up Blackjack” (pictured) and “Super Split Blackjack” – the latter recently introduced to the Philippine market – are two of the company’s “most dynamic blackjack variants”. They were designed “to enhance the traditional game with additional strategy and betting options”.

Super Split Blackjack offers the opportunity to split a players’ initial two cards if they are the same colour, without the need to be a pair or even the same suit.

“These games have gained strong traction in the Philippines, particularly at leading integrated resorts such as Okada Manila and Solaire, where they offer a fresh and engaging experience for players,” observed the gaming supplier.

Score Gaming also noted that side bets were a “fundamental component” of its product offerings.

“They not only increase potential revenue for operators but also add excitement and variety for players,” explained the company.

It added: “By introducing engaging and strategic side bets, we enhance the overall gaming experience, leading to longer play sessions and greater satisfaction for both players and casinos.”
