Paradise City, a resort with foreigner-only casino near South Korea’s main air hub Incheon International Airport, has signed an agreement with Shilla Duty Free, to boost business from overseas customers. Steps the two plan include collaborative marketing campaigns, reported local media outlets, citing a Wednesday announcement by the two sides.
Under the partnership, foreign tourists visiting Paradise City would have the chance of benefits from Shilla Duty Free, a major South Korean retail chain.
Via the deal, Paradise City will offer Shilla Duty Free vouchers to its guests from overseas. Foreigners that are registered with Paradise City’s casino will also have the chance of “VIP benefits” at Shilla Duty Free that correspond to their casino membership tier, according to the reports.
South Korea-listed Paradise Co Ltd is an operator in South Korea of foreigner-only casinos, including a venture at Paradise City, done jointly with Japanese entertainment conglomerate Sega Sammy Holdings Inc.
Paradise Co also runs gaming at Walkerhill, Seoul, as well as in the southern port city of Busan, and at a venue on the semi-autonomous holiday island of Jeju.
