Zitro flags increase of 1,300 hours in ESG training for employees

Gaming supplier Zitro International SARL says it recorded in 2024 an increase of 1,300 hours from the prior year in training related to the group’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies.

“This significant growth reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to safety, health, the environment, and governance,” particularly in Spain, said the company in a recent press release.

According to the announcement, the ratio of ESG training hours per Zitro employee rose from 2.31 hours in 2023 to 3.12 hours in 2024, “significantly exceeding the target” set for last year.

The brand stated: “This improvement has been made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the sustainability and learning departments, which have driven the expansion and strengthening of internal ESG training.”

“Through these initiatives, Zitro reaffirms its commitment to employee training and awareness, advancing towards a more sustainable and responsible management approach,” said the firm.

In July, the gaming supplier announced a “company-wide commitment” to ensure “future sustainable initiatives” across all the locations where it operates.

The company said at the time that it was “reinforcing its corporate sustainability policy,” as a strategic framework integrating ESG principles “across all its global operations”.

It also stated at the time that the policy applied to “every office, employee, supplier, and part, of the value chain”.
