Casino equipment and online games provider Light & Wonder Inc says it will debut its new “LightWave” cabinet line at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States. The casino industry trade show and conference will take place from October 7 to 9.
Making its trade show debut, LightWave (pictured) is Light & Wonder’s latest large-scale portrait cabinet.
“This new gaming machine offers a full-length, bank-wide visual display that seamlessly integrates machine-mounted LCD screens with high-resolution micro-LED surrounds,” stated the gaming supplier in a press release.
“The synchronised displays merge into a single, dynamic canvas that extends far beyond one machine, creating a cross-bank immersive experience that can be seen from across the casino floor,” the firm added.
The cabinet is launching with five new titles: “Frankenstein Returns”; “Jackpot Party VIP Disco”; “Dancing Drums Revolution”; “Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls Explosion”; and “Visitors from the Planet Moolah”.
Light & Wonder’s president and chief executive, Matt Wilson, said in prepared remarks: “Our mission is to create the world’s best games, and G2E is where we bring that vision to life.”
“LightWave and our new cabinets are more than new hardware – they’re new ways to play, creating immersive experiences that captivate players and give our customers the tools to shape the future of the casino floor,” added Mr Wilson.
Light & Wonder is also set to debut new versions of some of its product portfolio. That includes the “Cosmic Dual” cabinet, featuring dual 27-inch HD displays and an optional topper; the “Cosmic Sky” dual tower platform, which features dual stacked 55-inch Ultra HD curved displays.
The gaming supplier will also launch a progressive system dubbed Nexlink, new electronic table games, and iGaming content.
