Philippines-based Tecnet Asia Inc, a regional provider of technical services and support to the gaming industry, is “on a good path” in terms of business momentum, says the firm’s founder and president, Suat Sirin.

“The company has grown more rapidly than I had expected, and we are expanding our services across various markets,” Mr Sirin stated in an interview with GGRAsia.

Tecnet has its headquarters at Clark, a place with a cluster of casino resorts, located northwest of the capital Manila. The firm provides software, hardware, technical consultancy and project management services to the land-based gaming sector. The company is also a distributor of gaming machines and hospitality-related products for a number of manufacturers.

“Currently, we are serving several markets in Asia, including the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Goa, Nepal, and Vietnam,” explained the Tecnet president.

He was speaking to GGRAsia during the recent Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia @ the Philippines 2025, which took place in December in Manila.

Tecnet “is still a very young company,” Mr Sirin noted. Originally founded in Singapore, the entrepreneur decided to relocate to the Philippines in 2016, “where we saw more opportunities for growth,” he explained.

According to Mr Sirin, the technical-support segment remains the group’s largest revenue contributor.

“We distribute machines and other products on behalf of manufacturers, but an important part [of the business] is that we also provide support for those machines, and that creates a more long-term relationship with clients,” he explained.

In mid-2023, Tecnet became a distribution partner for the Philippine market for Austrian gaming equipment supplier Novomatic AG. The Clark-based company is also a distributor for Australian slot maker Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd.

Other companies represented by Tecnet include: casino equipment maker APEX pro gaming sro; Patir Casino Seating, a designer and manufacturer of chairs for the casino and hospitality industries; and Miwa Lock Co Ltd, a producer of locks for a variety of industries.

At the beginning of 2025, Tecnet became the official distributor in the Philippines for cash handling and transaction-equipment specialist NRT Technology Corp.

The Philippines remains Tecnet’s “biggest market, because there’s a growing number of [gaming] properties,” Mr Sirin noted.

“We provide services to all the integrated resorts [in Manila], namely via the NRT kiosks, and we are also supporting and servicing the machines” at those venues, he pointed out.

The company provides as well services to some Casino Filipino venues, outlets operated by the country’s casino regulator, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor).

The firm is also expanding its business in other markets across Asia, as new properties open and existing venues upgrade their systems, said the Tecnet boss.

“We have Tecnet Sri Lanka, which provides support to various casinos in that country,” Mr Sirin said.

“We sold recently more than 60 machines to three different casinos in Sri Lanka, and we started to upgrade their casino management systems,” stated the Tecnet founder.

He added: “So, it’s not just about the brands we represent, but the services and support that we provide to each of our customers.”

This year, the company installed the MyACP casino management system at Bally’s Casino in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Tecnet, the official distributor and technical support provider for MyACP in emerging Asian markets, says it has several other installations planned for across the region.

“Currently, we are on a good path in terms of growing our business,” Mr Sirin stated.
