U.S.-based gaming services specialist AA Slots LLC has opened an Asian office in Laos. From there it will work with Macau-based casino equipment supplier LT Game Ltd and several other partners, “supporting phase one of a new international integrated resort project and broader gaming operations across Southeast Asia,” the company said in a recent press release.

The update didn’t give further details on the name of the resort project or its location.

But it said the newly-established Laos office will operate as a regional technical and service hub, and “will oversee technical logistics, machine commissioning, preventative maintenance frameworks, and technical advisory services” for the new project.

AA Slots was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2012 and is headed by Anneck Ackasone (pictured, third from right), who according to his LinkedIn account is a former slot technician in the Las Vegas market.

It stated it has an “established track record supporting casino operators and refurbishing machines for tier-one manufacturers including Light & Wonder [Inc] and Aristocrat [Gaming]”.

The firm added in the press release, the launch of a Laos office was “a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion… reinforcing its commitment to supporting integrated resort operations across Southeast Asia”.

Under the Laos collaboration, LT Game will “supply gaming machines and a casino management system (CMS) drawn from its established technology portfolio deployed across multiple Asian jurisdictions,” added the update.

Also working with them on the resort project will be Southeast Asia-based Kairos Gaming – a casino supply, consulting, and operational support company working across Indochina and “selected international markets”. It will provide “regional operational management support, regulatory coordination, and on-the-ground execution,” said the statement.

A Chinese firm – referred to in the update as LST – will provide “innovative gaming hardware solutions designed to integrate with LT Game machines, to be launched at the venue subject to technical and regulatory approval”.

Mr Ackasone was cited as saying: “Laos offers a compelling strategic location at the heart of Southeast Asia, with growing regional connectivity and access to multiple neighbouring markets.

“Establishing our first Asian office here allows AA Slots to efficiently support regional operations while working closely with trusted partners such as LT Game and Kairos Gaming.”

Paul Simmons (pictured, third from left), chief executive and co-founder of Kairos Gaming, was quoted as saying in the update: “The opening of AA Slots’ Asian office represents an important step forward for gaming operations in Southeast Asia.”

“This project brings together international technical standards, experienced global partners, and strong regional execution,” Mr Simmons added. “For Kairos, it reinforces our commitment to supporting professionally managed, sustainable resort operations across the region.”
