Wynn Resorts Ltd says “100 percent” of the concrete structure is now completed for the “signature” tower at Wynn Al Marjan Island casino complex in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including the structure of all guest rooms.
Fitting out of guest rooms is now under way. The firm added that building of a new bridge (pictured, foreground) to connect to the UAE’s road network and on to Dubai International Airport, said to be a 50-minute drive away, was also nearly halfway to completion.
“Following its topping out in December 2025, the resort’s signature tower has reached a height of 299 metres [981 feet], with 100 percent of structural concrete completed through to the 71st floor roof,” the company said in a Monday update.
The US$5.1-billion property – being developed in Ras Al Khaimah with local partners, with Wynn Resorts having a 40 percent equity stake – is due to have a spring 2027 opening. The other participants are Marjan LLC and RAK Hospitality Holding LLC.
The casino group added in its Monday update: “Installation of the tower’s structural steel roof crown has commenced, and the tower façade installation continues to advance, with 21,852 of 26,471 façade panels installed representing 83 percent completion to date.
“Elevator and escalator installations are progressing across the property, and interior fit-out continues.”
Monday’s statement also noted: “Structural works have now been completed for all 1,530 guest accommodations, including rooms, suites, townhouses, and Marina Estates, representing 100 percent structural completion of the total inventory.”
Wynn Resorts added: “Interior fit-out is under way across all accommodations, with mechanical, electrical, and finishing works progressing in sequence.”
The firm said that for the resort’s “low-rise” structures, combined concrete and structural steel works” were “99 percent complete”, representing 482,127 cubic metres (17.0-million cubic feet) of concrete and ”15,162 tons” of structural steel.
Monday’s statement stated that construction of what it termed “Wynn Bridge” was 48 percent completed. The structure is designed to ease connection to the federal nation’s global air hub at Dubai International Airport.
The property is located on a 60-hectare (148.3-acre) plot on an artificial island in Ras Al Khaimah.
Wynn Bridge will be 548 metres long, connecting Wynn Al Marjan Island, via “Wynn Boulevard”, to the E311 and E611 roads, “creating a seamless link between Dubai and the northern Emirates,” said the statement. “Construction of the bridge is progressing on schedule for completion in late 2026, with piling works completed.
Last month Wynn Resorts disclosed details for “Wynn Oasis”, which it says is purpose-built to accommodate the majority of the staff for Wynn Al Marjan Island, and is a 15-minute drive away.
