Japan Cash Machine Co Ltd, also known as JCM Global, says it has completed an upgrade on more than 1,400 games at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in California, in the United States.
The property’s “entire casino slot floor” now utilises JCM’s iVizion bill validator, the company stated.
According to the firm, iVizion “increases security with its Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology that scans 75 times more data points than any bill validator in its class”. The product is said to validate and accept more than 120 of the world’s currencies.
Chukchansi Gold also uses JCM’s GEN5 thermal printer and the firm’s Intelligent Cash Box (ICB) system, according to the press release.
The update cited Dave Kubajak, JCM’s senior vice president for sales, marketing and operations, as saying: “We have worked closely with the Chukchansi Gold team for more than two decades and are thrilled to complete this latest phase of the technology road map we created for the property.”
Sean Emel, director of slots at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, said in prepared remarks that with “more than 2,000 slot machines” now equipped with iVizion bill validators, guests at the complex would “benefit from enhanced performance, reliability, and security”.
“Our partnership with JCM spans more than 20 years … and this latest advancement further reinforces our commitment to delivering a superior guest experience,” Mr Emel added.
JCM, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, manufactures banknote validation and currency-handling machines, as well as printers for casino gaming machines and other gaming hardware-related devices.
In December, the company reported net sales of JPY23.43 billion for April to December, down 22.7 percent from a year earlier.
