Casino equipment supplier Aristocrat Gaming says it is expanding the deployment of its “Thunder Empire” slot game across North America. The title “brings its proven success from Australia, where it is one of the country’s most popular games,” the gaming supplier stated in a Tuesday press release.
Kurt Gissane, chief revenue officer for Aristocrat Gaming, was cited as saying that the firm was “thrilled” to introduce Thunder Empire to North America.
“This game is one of the most popular… ever to hit the Australian market, and now that buzz is coming to this side of the world,” he stated. “With four compelling titles to choose from and a brand‑new Hold & Spin feature, Thunder Empire delivers a distinctive experience that truly sets it apart.”
Thunder Empire was shown at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia 2026 in Macau this month.
Mr Gissane said at the trade show that the title – originally developed by the group’s Australian game studio – “has been tweaked to go into the United States and Asia [markets]”.
In North America, Thunder Empire debuted with four titles: “King Samurai”, “Magic Emperor”, “Mongolian Empress”, and “Inca Diamonds”.
The Thunder Empire game family appears exclusively on the firm’s The Baron Portrait cabinet.
According to the company, each title has a free games feature and an innovation to Aristocrat Gaming’s Hold & Spin mechanic known as the “Hold & Spin Again”.
The Hold & Spin Again is described as a “feature-in-feature that brings additional entertainment by offering the opportunity for players to trigger the Hold & Spin feature back-to-back and potentially beyond”.
