Three new director-level appointments in operational roles – all made via internal promotion – have been announced at Gaming Laboratories International LLC (GLI).
The gaming technology testing and consultancy group gave the news in a Wednesday statement.

Mary Sim (pictured left) becomes director of quality assurance, while Alan Drozd (pictured centre) and Robert Lorick (pictured right) have been named directors of engineering.
Ms Sim is based in GLI’s world headquarters in Lakewood, New Jersey, in the United States. Per the update, she has been with GLI since 2006 and previously served as senior manager of quality assurance.
Chris Gallo, senior vice president technical compliance and quality assurance, said in commentary on Ms Sim’s promotion: “Mary’s proven leadership has strengthened global team alignment, driven meaningful process improvements, and, most importantly, cultivated a positive and collaborative work environment.”
Mr Drozd and Mr Lorick each started their careers with GLI as test engineers and most recently served as senior managers of engineering.
Andrea Bossard, vice president of engineering, stated regarding Mr Drozd: “Alan has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, deep technical expertise, and a strong commitment to delivering value for our clients.”
Ginnie Hollis, also vice president of engineering at GLI, was cited in Wednesday’s update as saying of Mr Lorick: “Robert is a respected leader who is instrumental in advancing our global digital growth through his expertise, forward-looking mindset, and disciplined execution.”
On Monday it was announced that private markets manager and private equity firm CVC Capital Partners PLC had become a “strategic investment partner” of GLI.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, though a release on behalf of the two sides said the agreement would “provide resources and expertise to enhance the capabilities and growth prospects of GLI”.
