The management at Galaxy Macau has announced a roster of fashion brands due to open new outlets at The Promenade (pictured), a shopping mall at the casino resort. It says some of the brands are new to Macau.

The British fashion brand Burberry opens an outlet there this Friday, the resort’s developer Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd said in a press release.

Burberry is known to many for its outerwear, including the use of distinctive Burberry check fabric, but has diversified into accessories and beauty products.

The global fashion brand Gucci is due to open an outlet at The Promenade later this month, said Galaxy Entertainment.

Prada is to open a venue there in October, and the British fashion brand Daks is “coming soon”, added the press release.

Other names due to arrive soon are Japanese denim brands Moussy and Evisu.

Louis Vuitton opened a store at The Promenade in August.

“We are excited to be welcoming top luxury brands to Galaxy Macau for the first time, connecting our increasingly discerning guests with the most iconic retail brands from around the globe,” said Kevin Clayton, chief marketing officer of Galaxy Macau.

Most of the shopping space at Galaxy Macau is in the HKD19.6-billion (US$2.5-billion) Phase 2 development, which opened on May 27.
