Gaming testing specialist and technical consultancy Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) Australia has appointed Andrew Campbell as manager compliance and quality assurance. “This appointment is the result of continued growth in the region,” GLI said in a press release.

In his new position, Mr Campbell will be “responsible for ensuring all gaming licensing obligations are met as well as overseeing the maintenance of the quality management system, ensuring that the quality of testing has been carried out in accordance with this system”.

GLI has three labs in Australia and one in Macau.

“Andrew’s experience in the lotteries industry, combined with his strong background in IT and quality assurance, will further boost GLI’s strength in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Espee de Robillard, chief operating officer for Asia Pacific at GLI.

He added: “Andrew has management experience and an expert knowledge of lottery operations that will compliment GLI’s existing capability in the casino and online gambling sectors.”

In June, the firm said it has been expanding its laboratory capacity in Asia Pacific to meet customer needs. GLI Australia has also increased staffing levels this year, it said in June’s statement.
