Casino equipment supplier Aristocrat Gaming says it has installed 270 new slot machines at Hann Casino Resort, as part of the gaming venue’s expansion that opened on Friday, as reported by GGRAsia.
The new casino floor, dubbed “The Canyon”, is part of the expansion of Hann Casino Resort, a complex at Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, a two-hour drive from the Philippine capital, Manila.
The Canyon is described as a two-storey addition to the existing casino at the Hann Philippines Inc property. According to the venue’s management, the design of the new facility is inspired by rock formations and greenery in an atrium setting.
Only the first floor of The Canyon opened on Friday. It can “accommodate up to 446 guests and will feature 584 slot machines and 34 table games,” according to information provided by the property’s promoter. The second floor is “scheduled to open next year,” it added.
As part of the launch of the expanded gaming venue, Aristocrat Gaming said some of the group’s titles, “such as ‘Dragon Link’, ‘Buffalo Gold Collection’, and ‘Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Chapter 2’ would “be available for players and guests,” as well as “brand new content” like Tian Ci Jin Long’, which makes its Philippines debut on the gaming floor”.
Tian Ci Jin Long features five levels of ‘Hold & Spin’ with an Asian-inspired theme with dragons, coins and mystical symbols. “Players collect dragon orbs to unlock free games with enhanced multipliers and bonus opportunities,” stated the gaming supplier.
Lloyd Robson, Aristocrat Gaming’s senior vice president for Asia and Europe, Middle East, and Africa, said in prepared remarks: “Hann Casino Resort is one of the go-to entertainment destinations in the Philippines and we are incredibly proud to bring our content, like Dragon Link, to the casino floor.”
He added: “We congratulate Hann Casino Resort on this milestone and look forward to our continued partnership.”
As part of the expansion’s opening, there was also a “Buffalo activation” area at the property, which will continue over the coming weeks, “helping visitors and players enjoy the new and expansive gaming floor,” said Aristocrat Gaming.
The announcement cited Dennis Andreaci, senior vice president for gaming operations at Hann Casino Resort, as saying that The Canyon was a “unique casino environment unlike anything” in the Philippine market.
“Drawing inspiration from rock formations, flowing water, and layered landscapes, we designed a space that is both sophisticated and calming. This is not just an expansion; it is a statement,” Mr Andreaci added.
