Slot machine maker Aristocrat Technologies Inc – a unit of Australia-listed Aristocrat Leisure Ltd – is to launch a new game based on the successful HBO science fiction television series “Westworld”.
The Westworld slot game will debut in October at Global Gaming Expo Las Vegas, a casino industry trade show, on Aristocrat’s new “flame55” cabinet. The firm says the cabinet has a single-screen double-curved 55-inch 4K monitor, stereo audio, a virtual button deck, and what the company terms “advanced ergonomics”.
The game has been licensed via the California, U.S.-based enterprise Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
Siobhan Lane, Aristocrat Technologies’ senior vice president, marketing and gaming operations North America, said in a prepared statement included in a press release, that the new offering was “a very exciting addition” to its line-up.
Aristocrat’s product portfolio includes several game titles licensed from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, including “Batman Classic TV Series”, “The Big Bang Theory”, “Dumb and Dumber” and “A Christmas Story”.
