The Class III casino product is described by the maker as offering play where “volatility is low, and the feature frequency is high”.

The game is on Aristocrat’s Wonder Wheels slot platform, which features 55-inch (140-centimetre) screens and a topper. The cabinet can reach as much as 10.5-feet (3.2-metres) in height.

Ted has a five-level progressive jackpot, including a US$250,000-multi site progressive ‘grand jackpot’ and a US$10,000-‘static jackpot’. In addition, the manufacturer says one of six bonuses can be triggered within the base game “at any time with any bet”.

There is also a Thunder Buddies Wheel feature, which awards one of nine bonus features that are based on themes from the Ted series.

Ted is configured for a 60-credit minimum bet and a 300-credit maximum bet. A 600-credit maximum bet is available for single site progressive versions.

Dualos is a slot machine cabinet with dual 23-inch (58-centimetre), high-definition screens, offering “superior sound, OLED digital buttons, integrated ambient lighting, and an 18.5-inch digital topper,” the company said in a press release.

The cabinet comes with what the firm describes as a rich game library of titles from three Scientific Games brands – Bally, Shuffle Master, and WMS.

The gaming equipment supplier said Dualos offers “unique and premier content customised for players”, as well as games that are proven favourites with players in the Australian market.

“The abundance of technology in our portfolio enables us to pick and choose the best features across Bally, Shuffle Master, and WMS to maximise the player experience,” Adrian Halpenny, senior vice president of Scientific Games Australasia, said in a statement.

He added: “The early response from our customers has been very positive as they recognise the value that Dualos can bring to their respective businesses.”

The Dualos cabinet is Scientific Games’ first new cabinet since acquiring Bally Technologies Inc in a deal valued at US$5.1 billion.

“What we have achieved in a short period shows how clever engineering backed by organisational expertise can set a new benchmark for excellence,” Gavin Isaacs, president and chief executive of Scientific Games, said.

Ainsworth’s new cabinet includes dual 24-inch (61-centimetre), high-definition liquid crystal display (LCD) screens, the company stated in a filing to the Australian Securities Exchange. The product additionally features a mechanical, programmable touchscreen using either organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology or an LCD format.

The firm said the unit also has a modular internal design to make it easier to service, and is “future technologies compatible”.

The new A600 cabinet has received regulatory approval in both New South Wales and Queensland, the company added.

Danny Gladstone, chief executive of Ainsworth, described the A600 as “Ainsworth at its best”. “A focus on research and development enables us to drive machine innovation to deliver our customers the finest gaming experience possible,” added Mr Gladstone.

The company will report its full-year 2015 results after market close on August 18.

“Our new Dungeons and Dragons games offer a rich fantasy experience that equips casinos with a diversity of entertainment to reach and retain new audiences,” said Matt Reback, vice president of marketing at Konami. “Similar to the first games, this second instalment offers novel bonus features and graphic art elements but remains rooted in the primary components that core slot players appreciate,” he added.

In the new games, players get to increase their chance of winning a higher progressive jackpot prize by rolling 20-sided die and battling unique monsters via random difficulty levels.

‘Buffalo Grand’ is being offered on the Arc Double cabinet. The platform has two 42-inch (107-centimetre) curved, high-definition liquid crystal display touchscreens, upgraded graphics and what the company terms an ‘iChair’, offering an immersive experience of the game.

Aristocrat Technologies says that the new version of the game stays true to the core base game elements, while adding new features including the opportunity to win jackpot multipliers and up to 50 free games.

‘Buffalo Grand’ is an ‘Xtra Reel Power’ game with a chance to win a multi-site progressive jackpot, as well as four other linked progressive jackpot levels.

Two new themes are set to be introduced to casinos later this year: ‘Fortunes of the Forgotten Realms’ and ‘Dwellers of the Dungeon Keep’. Both expand upon the popular five-reel debut themes of the series, and have a four-level standalone progressive jackpot and patented features including Nudging Double Action Stacked Symbols and Xtra Reward.

“These products, when coupled with the authentic Dungeons and Dragons brand and game play elements…have resulted in terrific performance,” said Matt Reback, vice president of marketing at Konami.

“The ‘Extra Bonus Wilds Feature’ can be triggered at the start or end of any spin, and players will experience a range of different ways that Wilds are added to their reel sets,” Aristocrat said in a press release.

“The Extra Bonus Wilds Feature occurs frequently and increases significantly during free games, increasing anticipation and time on device,” the company added.

Extra Bonus Wilds comes with two base games, ‘Birds of Pay’ and ‘Wild Lepre’coins’, available in the Helix, Viridian WS and VII Slant cabinets.

Both titles have medium high volatility and an average feature frequency, Aristocrat said.

This latest addition to Konami’s Synkros product portfolio allows casino players to simultaneously access loyalty kiosk functions – such as player account information, special offers, casino promotions and more – from personal mobile devices, video slot machines and traditional kiosk machines.

In addition, SYNKiosk’s enrol features offer self-serve player account enrolment and retrieval via an automated kiosk, “allowing casino guests to independently create and/or reprint their players card in under 60 seconds,” Konami said in a press release.

“Because SYNKiosk puts real-time player account management in the hands of customers from their smart phone and at their favourite slot, it is creating new touch-points for properties and players to communicate and interact,” said Ross O’Hanley, vice president for North American sales at Konami.

“SYNKiosk changes the nature of traditional kiosks, and even slot machines, by delivering a wealth of patron account services to any enabled game on the floor, mobile device or traditional kiosk – the end result being greater customer convenience, operational efficiency and marketing participation,” said Mr O’Hanley.

The game was previewed in September at the Global Gaming Expo 2014 casino industry trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The show’s action is captured on Aristocrat’s award-winning VERVEhd video cabinet, promising ultra hi-definition graphics, three-dimensional panoramic adjustable sound and an ergonomic design intended to enhance each player’s experience.

The firm says Sons of Anarchy Slot Game is the first of the company’s products to feature Aristocrat’s “Cluster Power” feature, where winning combinations are formed by connecting the same symbol in clusters across multiple reels. Additionally, the makers say the video graphics of the game allow the reel area on the screen display to expand in any direction during the “No Limits Jackpot” feature.

The “No Limits Jackpot” feature is awarded when a “Big Jackpot Symbol” lands and causes the reel area to grow to the size of that symbol. Three “Big Jackpot Symbols” result in the award the Mini progressive jackpot. Four “Big Jackpot Symbols” award the minor progressive. Five “Big Jackpot Symbols” result in the award of the major progressive jackpot. A total of six “Big Jackpot Symbols” results in the award of the grand progressive.

Additionally, a free games bonus awards between 10 and 100 free games.

WMS featured content catering to Asian player preferences at its booth this year, including ‘Winning Fortune Progressive’ slot games, also known as ‘Yi Lu Fa’ within the Macau market. The product offers five levels of progressive play, an interactive feature that allows players to place the top progressive symbol on the wheel before spinning, and three base themes; ‘Dragon’s Legend’; ‘Wishing You Fortune’; and ‘Far East Fortunes Deluxe’. Each has unique bonus rounds.

Also on display was the new premium local area progressive series ‘Sons of the Dragon’, which WMS says was “created with Asian aesthetics in mind” and with jackpot mechanics designed for Asian players.
