Crane Co, a U.S. maker of equipment for the gaming and other industries, says it has appointed Christina Cristiano to serve as the firm’s principal accounting officer.
The company told the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in a Friday filing that Ms Cristiano had taken up the position last Wednesday.
Ms Cristiano has been a vice-president of Crane Co and the controller of the company since May. She will keep those positions, according to Friday’s filing.
Before that she was a vice-president of Thomson Reuters and the controller of the company for global accounting and statutory reporting.
Crane Co said the executive Ms Cristiano replaces as principal accounting officer, Richard Maue, would stay on as the senior vice-president of the company and its chief financial officer, so remaining in charge of the group’s finances.
