Hong Kong-listed Japanese pachinko operator Dynam Japan Holdings Co Ltd announced on Friday that three models of video slot machine for casinos but containing “pachinko game concept” – designed to “extend the time of playing” for users – had been installed at Macau’s Legend Palace Casino (pictured). They were in operation on November 30.
The products were jointly developed with Singapore-based supplier Weike Gaming Technology (S) Pte Ltd.
The Friday filing did not mention the number of units installed at Legend Palace Casino. The latter venue is promoted by fellow Hong Kong-listed outfit Macau Legend Development Ltd. The three models were respectively: “Fortune Frogs” (“Pachinko Bonus Series”), “Fortune Frogs in Mid-Autumn” (“Pachinko Bonus Series”), and “Double Frogs” (“Half Chance Series”).
Fortune Frogs was among games exhibited by Weike at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia 2019 casino trade show and conference held in Macau in May.
The Pachinko Bonus Series was for “the mass market and extending the time of playing”, while the Half Chance Series offered an “exciting game concept to determine ‘Win’ or ‘No Win’ in short time with one reel” or line, said Dynam Japan.
Weike is marketing the products under the branding “DynamicW Series”. Dynam Japan said it planned to develop further models with Weike, with an eye particularly on the Macau mass-market segment for slot games.
