EGT eyes regional expansion via G2E Asia participation

Bulgaria-based slot machine and games manufacturer Euro Games Technology Ltd (EGT) is returning to Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia after several years of absence from the casino industry trade show and conference. The company says it will be exhibiting a diverse range of products at this year’s event, as the firm tries to expand its footprint in Asia.

“Our display will show how serious our intentions are about the Asian market, that is well developed, stable and rich in business opportunities for EGT,” said Boyko Boev, EGT’s manager business development for Asia, in a prepared statement contained in a press release. “We also have the full support of our regional partner Channel Paradise Sdn Bhd – a company with impeccable reputation and strong presence on the market,” he added.

G2E Asia – jointly organised by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions – will take place at the Venetian Macao casino resort on May 15 to 17.

EGT said Asian themes are the leading choice for the jackpot systems that the company will exhibit at its booth during G2E Asia.

“The four-level progressive Fu Gui Rong Hua and the five-level progressive Cai Shen Kingdom … have already gained popularity in many countries. Now they will be shown in Macau for a first time together with the newest Dragon’s Turn – a four-level progressive link that includes random jackpot and bonus wheels,” according to EGT’s press release.

Commenting on the firm’s products, Mr Boev said: “We are looking forward to receive the feedback of the local audience on our products and are especially curious about how our Asian-themed jackpot systems will be perceived.”

The firm said additionally that its subsidiary EGT Multiplayer will be debuting the T-Line Series 84-inch roulette touch table at G2E Asia. The product features an automated wheel, with 12 gaming stations and the Diamond Number jackpot system. During the show, EGT Interactive will also introduce its portfolio of titles both for desktop and mobile devices, said the parent company.

“EGT is a young company on the regional market, yet our diverse product range gives us ground for ambitious plans for further growth in the region,” stated Mr Boev.

He added: “We are already present in Sri Lanka and the Philippines … and have made several impressive installations in countries of key importance like Cambodia, Laos and Timor-Leste, inking also contracts for deliveries in Malaysia, India and Nepal.”
