This year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia is “bigger and better than ever,” says Wei Hu, president of Reed Exhibitions Greater China.
“With a show floor that’s bigger and better than ever, this year’s edition features 180 exhibitors displaying products and services over 8,500 square metres [91,493 sq feet] of exhibit space,” he said during the opening ceremony of the show, which started on Tuesday at Venetian Macao, in Cotai.
The executive added: “In the coming days, we expect to welcome over 500 [premium visitors] and 9,000 attendees from Asia and across the world. That is hugely significant because G2E Asia 2007, the first-ever edition of this show, saw us host just under 3,000.”
G2E Asia is co-organised by Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association.
Last year’s edition attracted more than 8,200 visitors, according to Reed Exhibitions. A total of 160 exhibitors took part in the 2014 event.
