The Gaming Standards Association (GSA) is inviting casino, lottery and other gaming operators to join its new ‘operators advisory committee’.
The committee “focuses on the functional requirements to ensure that GSA standards are meeting market demands,” according to the trade body’s website.
“This is an open forum where operators are able to discuss business and technical challenges they face in delivering gaming experiences to their customers and then build collective technical strategies that can help to reduce these challenges,” said association president Peter DeRaedt in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The GSA is an international trade association with a mission to “develop, promote and implement” technical standards that enable interoperability of technology in the gaming industry. The association also seeks to encourage product innovation, professional education and communication among industry participants.
The operators advisory committee is one of 10 committees run by the GSA. Others include the gaming device standard committee and the marketing advisory committee.
