Charles Hiten (pictured) has been named as managing director for Merkur Gaming Americas. In that role he succeeds the late Jens Halle, former chief executive of Germany-based casino equipment supplier Merkur Gaming GmbH. Mr Halle died in the U.S. on May 20, aged 57.
“With Charles Hiten, we have gained a former colleague and close friend of Jens Halle for this important key position on the American continent. He is an acknowledged expert in the industry and will enrich Merkur Gaming with his wealth of knowledge and experience,” said Jürgen Stühmeyer, sales director for the Gauselmann Group, which owns Merkur Gaming.
Merkur Gaming develops and sells gaming machines and casino slot machines, as well as of video lottery terminals and server based gaming systems for international markets.
