Ian Payne named JCM Australasia general manager

Japan Cash Machine Co Ltd (JCM), a technology supplier to the global gaming market and that is also known as JCM Global, has named Ian Payne (pictured) as the company’s new general manager for JCM Global Australasia.

Mr Payne previously served as JCM’s Asia-Pacific business manager for nine years before briefly leaving the gaming industry.

“We are very pleased to welcome Ian Payne back to JCM Global and back to the gaming industry,” said Jason Cribbs, JCM’s vice president of sales, in a statement issued on Wednesday.

He added: “JCM clients across the entire Asia-Pacific region recognise Ian as a dynamic leader who truly listens to their needs and then delivers solutions tailored to each situation.”

Mr Payne will be based in the firm’s Sydney offices, in Australia.

Most recently, he had served as Asia-Pacific general manager for the Schaeffler Group, a global integrated automotive and industrial supplier.

JCM’s net sales in its gaming segment amounted to JPY11.95 billion (US$105.9 million) in the nine months to December 31, up by 30.2 percent year-on-year, the firm announced in February.
