Privately-held Inspire Entertainment Resort, a South Korean leisure complex with foreigner-only casino, has reported to the country’s authorities its operating results for the 12 months to September 30.
Up to that date – and starting from October 1, 2024 – the property at Incheon generated gross gaming revenue (GGR) of KRW267.23 billion (US$184.7 million), versus a figure of KRW107.94 billion reported previously and covering a shorter period.
The casino at Inspire only opened in February 2024, meaning direct year-on-year comparisons are not possible in terms of the complex’s latest declared results. The first phase of non-gaming launched in November 2023.
The operating entity Inspire Integrated Resort Co Ltd made the results declaration for the year up to September 30 2025, to South Korea’s integrated financial regulator, the Financial Supervisory Service.
The Inspire property’s net loss for the reporting period was KRW154.83 billion, versus an earlier KRW265.45-billion loss.
Its operating loss was KRW46.12 billion between October 2024 and September 2025, versus a previously-reported KRW156.38-billion.
Hotel-segment sales for the latest period totalled KRW56.24 billion, versus KRW46.17 billion reported earlier. Food and drink sales totalled KRW51.70 billion, from KRW38.95 billion previously.
Entertainment, retail and other services generated KRW32.14 billion, versus KRW22.23 billion reported previously. Rental income was recorded at KRW8.67 billion, from KRW3.74 billion previously.
The operating entity declared total revenue of circa KRW415.98 billion, versus a previously-reported KRW219.04 billion.
The complex currently offers 1,275 rooms via three towers, and on December 16 the hotel accommodation was added to the Hilton hospitality group’s global booking channel. The resort also has a 15,000-seat multipurpose arena, which has already hosted numerous entertainment concerts and events.
The property, near South Korea’s main air hub, Incheon International Airport, was developed by United States-based Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority. Private investment firm Bain Capital has controlled the venue since early 2025.
On December 1 last year, Gyubum Ko started work as a new chief executive at Inspire.
