Japan Cash Machine Co Ltd, also known as JCM Global, says it has completed a “significant upgrade” of bill validators across the gaming floor at Cache Creek Casino Resort, Northern California, in the United States.
In a Monday written announcement, JCM said it upgraded the property’s casino floor, replacing its UBA product by the iVizion bill validator “across 827 games”.
JCM also stated that Cache Creek utilises the firm’s Intelligent Cash Box (ICB) system.
The release cited Oliver Shoemaker, vice president of slot operations at Cache Creek, as saying: “JCM’s iVizion bill validators help us deliver a smoother, more enjoyable experience for our guests.”
Mr Shoemaker added: “With faster acceptance, enhanced security, and reliable performance from JCM Global, guests spend less time waiting and more time playing, which will make a noticeable difference on our casino floor.”
According to the firm, iVizion “increases security with its Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology that scans 75 times more data points than any bill validator in its class”. The product is said to validate and accept more than 120 of the world’s currencies.
Dave Kubajak, JCM senior vice president for sales, marketing and operations, said in prepared remarks: “JCM’s UBA bill validator was a landmark technology, and the fact that they are still in use in some casinos speaks to the high quality of JCM’s products”.
Mr Kubajak added: “iVizion built on that history of premium quality and surpassed it with the most advanced bill validator the gaming industry has known.”
In November, JCM reported a net profit of nearly JPY3.29 billion (US$21.3 million) for the six months to September 30, the group’s first financial half.
