Gaming performance reported by the promoter of Jeju Dream Tower, a resort with foreigner-only casino in Jeju island, South Korea, were in June at a record monthly high in terms of table drop amount and number of casino visitors, according to its Tuesday update.

June casino table drop – the amount paid by customers to purchase chips for table games – stood at KRW219.21 billion. The number represented a gain of 12.9 percent from May, and also a growth of 89.6 percent year-on-year.

Jeju Dream Tower saw 51,515 casino visitors in June, a monthly record since the casino’s launch in June 2021.

Overall casino sales in June were the second-highest recorded since gaming operations started at the venue, and reached KRW35.80 billion (US$26.34 million). The highest monthly casino sales were achieved in May this year, when the tally was KRW41.36 billion.

The company measures casino sales as net sales after deducting from gross sales certain items including commissions paid to agents.

The provisional data for June casino performance data were given in respectively a Tuesday filing to the Korea Exchange and supplementary data on Lotte Tour’s website.

June 2025’s table game sales at the property were KRW34.36 billion, down 12.8 percent from the previous month but up 92.6 percent year-on-year.

Machine-game sales in June declined 26.8 percent sequentially to nearly KRW1.44 billion. Measured year-on-year, that segment registered a 20.3 percent growth.

June’s hold rate for table games was 15.7 percent, flat from a year ago, but down from May’s 20.3 percent.

Last month’s data took total Jeju Dream Tower casino sales for the first half this year to approximately KRW194.59 billion, up 42.5 percent year-on-year.

June hotel sales at the complex were KRW6.83 billion, down 13.8 percent sequentially and also down 13.2 percent year-on-year.

Cumulative hotel sales for first half of 2025 were nearly KRW35.97 billion, down 9.8 percent year-on-year.
