Electronic table games specialist Interblock DD has named John Connelly as the company’s new global chief executive, effective from this month.
“Mr Connelly’s extensive background in the gaming sector, within both the U.S. and international markets, will help provide Interblock the necessary leadership needed to increase the company’s market position, revenue and profitability in the years to come,” the Slovenia-based casino equipment manufacturer said in a press release.
Mr Connelly has more than 20 years of experience within the global gaming industry and was most recently a member of Bally Technologies Inc’s executive committee.
“John Connelly will bring vision, focus and a wealth of experience to Interblock,” stated Joc Pečečnik, the company’s chairman.
“I am honoured to be given this opportunity to join such a dynamic and ambitious organisation, with a clear and focused mission to provide the casino sector with the necessary products to remain competitive,” Mr Connelly was quoted as saying.
Established in 1989, Interblock is best known in the gaming industry for its fully automated multiplayer electronic table games.
