Konami Gaming Inc has appointed a new systems software development vice president. The United States subsidiary of Japanese entertainment conglomerate Konami Holdings Corp said Sathish Anantharaman (pictured) would support the development of the Synkros casino management system.
In a written statement issued on Wednesday, Las Vegas-based Konami Gaming said Mr Anantharaman had pioneered an array of systems products that had covered a variety of topics including player loyalty and table games, table games automation, central monitoring, responsible gaming, facial recognition and mobile applications.
“Sathish Anantharaman has long demonstrated an ability to drive meaningful value for operators and guests through innovative use of technology, creative application development and proven results,” the statement quoted Konami Gaming chief systems product officer Thomas Soukup as saying.
Mr Anantharaman’s appointment is the second move announced this week regarding support for the brand’s Synkros gaming management system.
On Monday, Konami Gaming said it had linked with GamingAnalytics.AI to include aspects of natural language processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence in the Synkros casino management system.
Konami Gaming says the new tie-up would assist casino managers to make better use of the data they harvest from their customers.
