U.S.-based casino equipment supplier Konami Gaming Inc on Tuesday announced the promotion of Michael Coppert (pictured) to senior director, customer service.
Mr Coppert joined Konami in 2012 as director of customer service and technical support. He has more than 35 years of experience in software-based products for gaming, telecommunications, and global information technology.
In his new role Mr Coppert will be responsible for overseeing Konami’s games and systems customer service department including system implementations, game installations, customer training, field service operations, project management, and ongoing customer technical support and professional services, the company said.
He will report to the firm’s chief operating officer and executive vice president Steve Sutherland.
“Michael Coppert has demonstrated unwavering dedication to our customer base and each company’s unique needs throughout his time here at Konami,” said Mr Sutherland, adding the promotion “reinforces Konami’s strong commitment to providing high-quality service, reliability, and customer satisfaction.”
